Application methods Brush, roller, spray gun or paintbrush SURFACE PREPARATION OLD GAS SURFACES: The surface must be free of any dirt or impurities. Cracks and imperfections should be cleaned and repaired with the appropriate filler. After allowing the filler to dry overnight, you should sand moderately and apply the primer with Ambience 20 Sealant or an undercoat on wood, cement and plaster surfaces. Allow to dry overnight. After proper surface preparation, proceed in the same way as indicated for new surfaces. NEW SURFACES: New masonry and cement surfaces should be allowed to fully cure for 28 days before application. The surfaces should be lightly sanded and cleaned with a damp cloth. Two or more coats of primer can be applied, allowing a drying time between coats of 6-8 hours under normal conditions, followed by the application of two or more coats of Ambience eggshell.
